On Sunday, August 6, on a trip throught the Okanogan, I found 2 Solitary
Sandpipers. One was south of Republic, on State Hwy 21, on the Sanpoil
River a bit south of the Thirteen Mile Creek trailhead. The other was
just north of Republic at Mud Lake, in the fenced-in spring across the road
from Mud Lake itself. By the way, if you are passing through Republic, be
sure to stop at the Loose Blue Moose Coffee House Extreme.
