Hi there,
I am leaving Saturday for 10 days in the Methow Valley - I don't
have a real set itinerary yet, but I will be backpacking for some days
in the Pasayten and doing day hikes the rest of the time, maybe around
Mazama or Twisp.

I am seeking info on:

1) Must-visit birding destinations - particularly great day
hikes.

2) A great place to stay for a few nights - we are hoping to
find a cool Bed and Breakfast or inn. (I realize it will be hard to get
a reservation with such little notice for one of the more popular places
to stay, but I thought someone might know of an out-of-the-way place or
little-known B&B to try.)

I sincerely appreciate any information - it will be my first time in the
area. Wish me luck on the Boreal Chickadee!
