Ruth Sullivan called this afternoon (Aug. 9). She found the mostly
breeding plumaged Curlew Sandpiper yesterday and today on Long Beach. It
was on the open ocean beach about three miles north of the Oysterville
access. It flew farther north while she was there, but it was very active
and probably covers a lot of beach in both directions.
