I drove Clatsop Beach from the Gearhart Approach to the
Sunset Beach Access beginning at 1445hr.

Teresa, Michelle and I also went up to Longbeach and
spent an hour on the Oysterville Access. We did not attempt
a foray north (Michelle, at 20 months, still prefers to
play in the sand). There was a nearly unbroken line of
SANDERLINGS and SEMI PLOVERS to the north. SOOTY SHEARWATERS
were easily seen from the beach as were COMMON LOONS and
flocks of BRANDT'S CORMORANTS.
