Hello Tweeters.
I am sorry,but i spilled my coffee on to the Keyboard,it is KAPUT.
Here its the continue of my story:
When Patrick yelled!!!!!I got the bird,i got the bird!!!!!!!! I grabed my
camera,seeing a woman approaching us with a large dog.All what i saw two
birds flying ,one the Ruddy Turnstone what was landing further down on the
beach ,and the Curlew Sandpiper flying over the dunes where we lost this
bird.We searched the afternoon and all birders looked for it,no one found
this bird back. That makes it 7 days for this bird to be seeing .This is the
first time on a rare Shorebird that no birder looked,i was there three days
and the only birder on the beach.Friday there where 8 birders ,but more less
birded in the wrong area.
It takes a little effort on this long beach this to find a smal Sandpiper.To
me it was worth the effort what payed off in the end.And thanks to Don
Taylor from Oregon who found this jewel of a bird.There are only 3 birders
what saw this bird and my photos to confirm the sightings.
