Tweeters,

To those on Tweeters who have already recommended Living on the Wind by. S.
Weidensaul (1999. North Point Press. New York), let me add my vote. Though
the amount of new information contained in this remarkable book is,
admittedly slim, what is incredible is this guys interpretation of known
migration phenomena. Whether your going to the Texas coast in spring,
pelagic birding off the West Coast in fall, hawk-watching in the mountains,
interested in bird conservation, etc. etc., Scott's prose is both
interesting and informative. I am quite certain this book will become a
classic in the ornithological literature.
