Hello Tweeters,
Since yesterdy my yard is full of House Finches. Not the usual flock what i
always have but how about 150 House Finches sitting in all my trees .The
noise is almost to much to bear.I had this happening with Evening Grosbeaks
in the past, that even my neighbor was giving attention to this noisy
birds, but never had so many House finches before.
I saw one Brown Creeper again in my yard today,so there staying around. I
know you think what about a Creeper what is so special aboit this bird? It
is not so common to see this bird in urban yards, and we live here in
Fircrest 33 years and we never encountred this species in our yard. Many many
Red-breasted Nuthatches(there breed in our yard and all over fircrest) what
i can see at all times. My Two Anna's Hummingbirds are comming still regular
to the feeder, and perching sometime for an hour in the Vine Maple Tree.I
almost certain this two birds stay over the winter.
I am loosing a lot of leaves on all my trees, that mean fall is here, and our
winter birds will return soon.
