Today, 5 Dec 00, Dan Grosboll (caretaker of Glacial Heritage) saw an adult
Peregrine Falcon hunting the corn field next to Glacial Heritage. He saw her
at 8 AM and 9 AM. Later on in the day, I saw a very large raptor perching on
the gutter of my neighbor's barn, but I was too far to identify it. It was
being mobbed by crows, but the crows had a totally different jizz than then
they exhibit when they're mobbing a Red Tailed, so I am assuming it was the
Peregrine they were mobbing as she was hunting the pigeons in my neighbor's
barn. The pigeons, I must add, were conspicuous in their absence......
