Over the weekend I observed a hermit thrush casually feeding on some old
berries that had dropped to the ground in my yard. I'm wondering if it is
unusual for this thrush to still be in this area in early December. I
regularly read bird list submitted to Tweeters but don't recall seeing
hermit thrush mentioned during the winter.
