I have a question for you life listers. I'm planning on going to Port
Angeles in the near future to see the Emperor Goose that has been there for
around one year now. But from what I hear is that it does not fly, has one
foot, and is used to people feeding it. I would like to add this bird to my
ABA life list but I am having a hard time with this. Would you add it or
just consider it a cool, rare, stranded, domesticated goose. It sounds a
little like the Iceland Gull that was at the Tacoma tide flats last year with
the broken wing. A lot of birders were having problems considering it a
lifer or not.
Thanks a bunch Brad Wilson Puyallup WA. birding4brad at aol.com
