Today, while birding with Tom Aversa, we found an immature Harris' Sparrow
in a hedgerow at the end of Eide Road. It was in a large flock of birds
including White-crowned and Song Sparrows, Purple Finches and Juncos.

Other birds of note in the area were two adult Harlan's Hawks, a
Slate-colored Junco and a Great Horned Owl. There were also good numbers of
Savannah Sparrows and Western Meadowlarks.
