I have seen a single wild turkey near my home here in north Snohomish
county three times in the past year. Ive been told that turkeys were
released in the area by WDFW, however I have no confirmation of that.
If you flush one of these birds while walking through the woods you had
better hold on to your hat. One went up about twenty five feet from me
and it scared the bjeebers out of me.
