Subject: Raptor in UW Quad

Folks,

It's just before noon, and there's a very unusual raptor -- either an
accipiter or a REALLY big falcon -- hanging out in the UW quad (in front
of Smith Hall, where the Snowy Owl was a few years ago). It's got a brown
back, with a strongly barred tail, dark head, yellow legs, and brown
vertical marks on the chest. It's also calling -- a loud, stressed-out
laughing sort of sound. Come see it -- and let the list know what it is!
