Regarding that email by Bob Sargent. He's Mr. RubyThroat. He and his wife
have banded thousands of Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds in Alabama, and I
seriously doubt if anyone knows the little buzzers any better than he does.

I don't like the idea of kicking up the octane of hummer solution any more
than 1/4 cup to a cup, either. I'd give a whole lot of weight to what Mr.
Sargent says. Better to not see a hummer in the winter than kill it by
putting too much sugar in the mix.
