Well this morning we have seen a NORTHERN HARRIER, two juv. NORTHERN
GOSHAWKS and one RED-TAILED HAWK.

The Northern Harrier was chased off by the two goshawks. The
Red-tailed Hawk was just cruising through and now a MATURE BALD EAGLE
came into the area and the two goshawks pushed it a couple hundred
yards east of the house where it is now perched. The goshawks are
working a mixed flock of AMERICAN ROBINS and EUROPEAN STARLINGS. We
have not observed a successful attack yet.

The goshawks will perch in the middle of the tree and wait for the
other birds to land in the top of the tree and when there are about
20-30 birds the goshawk will charge out and try to grab one.

If you don't believe this, you can come over and watch the action
(mostly in the morning) from our yard or living room (when we are
here)

Off to Wenatchee for another week.
