I visited Ruston Way Saturday, Sunday and Monday and recorded Albino Loon
sightings all three days. Monday was the best with the Loon fishing around
Les Davies Pier giving me another chance at a up close and personal look and
a few photos. This guy is either on the City end of Asarco just outside the
buoy's or working his way to or from the Les Davies Pier. I have visited
Ruston Way over 15 times since November and only once was I unable to find
him. All these times he was between Asarco and Les Davies. I wonder where
this guy sleeps. Anyone willing to loan me a boat with enclosed quarters,
head, galley and staff? I would love to track him from the water, in
comfort. :-)

I also viewed many Horned Grebe, Western Grebe, Cormorants, Surf Scoters,
lots of Barrow's Goldeneye, a pair of Common Goldeneye, some Bufflehead and
a Hooded Merganser. At high tide when the Barrow's feed off the rocks at the
edge of the walkway. If you move when they dive under you can get close
enough to watch them work underwater. Too cool for words!
