NOTES: The ocean was relatively calm making for better than
average surface watching. Both MARBLED MURRELETS were in basic
plumage and fairly close in. The ANCIENT MURRELETS were in a
single flock that flew by heading north. The shearwaters were
dark bodied, probably Short-tailed Shearwaters. A large bird,
most likely a Brown Pelican, was circling a trawler too far
out for certain ID.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
