Subject: To CBC compilers: submitting unusual bird reports
Date: Dec 19 20:37:08 2000
From: Mike Patterson - celata at pacifier.com

The on-line forms for unusual reports are much better this
year, but require the compiler to type in the details. Which
is (probably) more trouble than necessary. For those compilers
who wish to do so feel free to type the data in.

But the alternative would be to send unusual reports directly
to me which allows you to send any sketches or photographs and
then check the "hard copy by mail" box on the data entry form.
The instructions tell you to mail the unusual species report to
Audubon, but they'll just put them in a package and mail them
to me.

DON'T SEND ME THE COUNT FEES!!!

Birds that will be needing details that I've seen so far:
Lesser Yellowlegs
Short-billed Dowitcher
Nashville Warbler
Clay-colored Sparrow

If in doubt, check the FAQ or ask me.

My address for details submissions:
CBC Details
c/o Mike Patterson
1338 Kensington Av

Thank you for your gracious cooperation.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
