they need?

Hello - I am writing on behalf of the Port Townsend Marine Science
Center. You may have heard that we are working on a new small natural
history exhibit space. One of the exhibits involves birds that appear
along our shorelines and their different feeding strategies/niches. We
imagine a mural- diorama with some birds painted in and others in the
foreground. Much to our surprise, it has been very difficult to obtain
specimens of shorebirds, even from one of our partners, the Burke
Museum. We are especially interested in black oyestercatchers, black
turnstones, and sanderlings, because we want to illustrate a variety of
feeding strategies.
So - I am wondering if you know of anyone there who has a taxidermied
specimen, a frozen specimen, a full skeleton, or a skull with beak for
these or other common species. We could beg, borrow, or buy such specimens!
