Subject: Snohomish Gyrfalcon still around

At 1:00 p.m. today my wife and I viewed the Gyrfalcon previously reported by
Gene Hunn, etc. from the Old Snohomish-Monroe Rd.
The Gyr was perched in a two-trunked leafless (dead?) tree about 250-300
yards to the west of the road, in the middle of a green farm field. The
spot is about one mile south of the Pilchuck river bridge (5 minutes from
Snohomish). At about one mile from the bridge (heading south) you will see
a 2 story white house on the left. As you approach this house look off in
the field to the right. Scopes are very helpful as I don't think you can
get closer to this particular tree because of private property.
