Henry Gilmore and I managed to find the Ft Canby MOUNTAIN
PLOVER after an hour or so of wandering back and forth in
the driftwood and dunes. We figure we must have walked right
by it at least once. There are two driftwood shelters in
the dunes. The northmost one with the packing pallet leaning
up against it is very close to where we found the bird.
