Hi,
There is a proposal to build 8 radio transmitter towers (several about
450+ feet tall with lights, all have guy wires) in the Snohomish River
Valley just across the river from Bob Heirman County Wildlife Park. We are
requesting birds sightings from the area around Snohomish and about 1/2 way
to Everett to where the river meets the Snoqualmie River.
We are interested in all bird info, but do need location, species,
numbers and if swans or eagles please give us adult/juvenile designation.
Our special need is to document swan and other waterfowl use in this area
since the park is a major night roost for these birds. Raptor sightings
are very much needed as well. If you know anything about this area as a
migration corridor for song birds please contact me.
Time is of the essence. Please send sightings as soon as you have them.
Thank you for your time and effort.
