Just a quick note to say that we looked high and low for the Snohomish
valley gyr today with no luck. Birds of any kind were almost non-existent;
did see a harrier and a few redtails, but a real paucity of waterfowl and
other stuff. Trumpeters still on the flats of SR9. The crows just about
finished the pumpkins, too!!
