Re. shortage of Bohemian Waxwings:

They're all in the Flathead Valley, Montana. I was near Kalispell for a
family Christmas and saw perhaps 6000 total, with huge flocks of 2000+ each
in Whitefish and Kalispell.

Also had fine views of the MOUNTAIN PLOVER between 2:20 and 4 PM today very
near the orange buoy left as a marker. It looks like it's in worn juvenal
plumage to me.
