I heartily agree with Diann MacRae in giving thanks to Deborah
Wisti-Peterson for giving us information about the Conservation Action
Network site sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund to do something
constructive for the welfare of wildlife. It doesn't take much effort at
least by Emailing letters re conservation issues. One gets a little
weary of listers and twitchers only babbling about what they see and
list. They wouldn't be seeing so much if others hadn't been carrying
the ball for wildlife conservation. No action on listers' part - nothing
later to gawk at. They are free loaders. Of course not all listers free
load, but too many do. Frequently being embroiled in conservation
issues can be a jungle out there.
