Hello Tweets,
Today Bruce LaBar and Charlie Wright and myself went down after the Mountain
Plover at Fort Canby State Park in Illwaco. We arrived at about 10:00AM
where birders who were already there, Steve Nord and his wife, Michael
Donahue, and Alan Knue were already looking at the bird. So an easy twitch
for us, thanks guys!
We also had the 4 White-tailed Kites north of the town of Chinook.
At the South Jetty of the Columbia River, we had 1 Snowy Owl, roughly 5
Lapland Longspurs, and at least 15 dark shearwater sp., where I only got one
identifiable look at a Short-tailed Shearwater flying close to the tip.
And if you guys didn't know yet, I just called the BirdBox and there is a
report of a White Ibis near Brady.
Good birding,
Ryan Shaw
