I saw the Gyrfalcon today (Saturday 12/30) about 1:30. It was visible a
good distance to the east from the gated (closed) dike access just south of
the Pilchuck River bridge on Lincoln Ave south of Snohomish. It was in a
lone bare tree. Not a very good view, due to distance. It took me several
minutes viewing through the scope to accumulate enough features to
positively identify it.
