Hey Tweets
Spent a few hours this morning looking for the White Ibis in the previously
reported location. No sign of him along the dike road. No large Crow
flocks either, just a good size group of Mew, Ring-billed and the big guy
gulls. Lone highlight was a female Common Yellowthroat while pishing out
the usual sparrows/kinglets.

Bird of the year and can only pick one... Well sticking to just Washington,
I have a good list to choose from, the male Spruce Grouse in Tiffany Mts,
the Sharp-tailed Grouse along Cameron Lake Road, Red-legged Kittiwake off
Westport... But its really not a tough choice, Shy Albatross takes the
cake, do you really need an explanation why?
Well I tabulated the final total of my year list. 332 for Washington. Sure
beats trying to work on the ABA area (and cheaper too). I'd like to thank
everyone who was gracious enough to help me out this year with information
on good places to bird, etc. And those of you who showed me new areas,
thank you also!
Good Birding and someone find that Ibis!

Cheers and Happy New Years
