I should mention that most roads that we took, especially Cameron Lake RD.
are compact snow and ice. I have a truck that does not have FWD or 4WD and we
did fine, but take it very slow. I have since learned that it appears that
the Winthrop area has good numbers of Redpoll and B. Waxwing. Good luck to
anybody that goes up there.
