I'm taking some newbie-birders to the Skagit and the Samish this coming
weekend. I thought we would make the full loop, so that they could see
Snow Geese and the Black-crowned Night-Heron rookery that I have
observed so many times, a few years ago.

Do tell: Is the rookery still there? I've heard that these birds might
not be there, now.
I usually just check out the "West-90" and that immediate area. I'm not
UP TO DATE.
