Today I took a nice walk to Lowell Riverfront Trail here in Everett and
relocated the Palm Warbler that Dave Beaudette found last week. Dave's
directions on the Birdbox were excellent and the bird was hanging out in
the same location with a small flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers. I found
Yellow-rumps all along the trail. The Palm Warbler was most
cooperative. It sat fairly low pumping its tail down and up. Be aware
that it sometimes flies to the other side of the path and sits on the
black fence. I also saw it move down a dirt path a little away from the
main paved trail. The Ruby-crowned Kinglets were also out in force and
brushing up on their singing skills today.
