Have I got a hummingbird project for you!

Collecting data on Rufous Hummingbird arrival is actually
pretty easy. As a result we have plenty of first arrival,
surprisingly little about peak movements. And if you've
been paying attention over the last couple days there's a
bit of disagreement about whether flowers bloom before,
after or at the same time as Rufous Hummingbird arrivals.

If you feel up to it I'd like to ask all you Citizen
Scientists help me gather data on this issue. The URL
below links you to the Hummingbird and Flowers webpage.
There you'll be able to download data forms for counting
hummingbirds at your feeder and/or native flowers in your
favorite birding patch.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
