Subject: Great Gray Owl update

The Great Gray Owl near Pullman, WA was seen yesterday at its roost and
then later in the afternoon hunting in the same area it was seen on Sunday.
It has apparently been present for as long as 2 weeks so may stay around
for a while. It has been frequenting the first 2 farmsteads east of the
Moscow/Pullman Airport along the Airport Rd. The first is accessed from a
driveway off Orville Boyd Rd. and the second from the Airport Rd. Both
owners are bird enthusiasts and have allowed birders access to their
property but please be considerate. The owl is approachable and easy to see
when it is hunting in the afternoon.
Please check the inland-nw-birders archive for updates:

Thanks, Charles.
