Hi tweets

A belated post, but Bruce LeBar's post on the Tacoma Gulls
prompted me.

On Saturday I managed to shake free for a couple hours
and went down to Tacoma to look for the various Tacoma
gulls. I got down to the Simpson parking lot around 4:00pm
and saw no sign of the Kumliens (sp?) Iceland Gull, the
Slaty-backed, or the Glaucous Gull. However, I ran into another
couple of birders who had just seen the GLAUCOUS GULL on
top of the containers at the Sealand facility across the river.
Apparently a BALD EAGLE had overflown and they were unable to
relocate the Glaucous Gull afterwards, so I missed out. But on
Saturday at least one Glaucous Gull was still there.
