Subject: Lesser Black-backed still here.

The Lesser Black-backed Gull was observed this morning
(Thursday) between 9-10 a.m. in Walla Walla at the
Hussey Street site (see http://homepages.wwc.edu/staff/nestja/BIRDS/birding..htm
for driving directions.

We have a request from the person in charge of the
Walla Walla landfill on Sudbury Road (Dennis) where the
bird has been observed. He is VERY happy for birders
to visit the landfill, but for safety/liability reasons he asks
that everyone check in AND check out at the weigh scale
house; he wants to make sure nobody gets buried and forgotten.
(Though that might provide extra food for the gull, allowing it
to stick around longer . . .)
