Deborah and Tweets: My guess is it was actually a GREAT HORNED OWL that your
friend had in his yard primarily because BARN OWLS do not hoot. They usually
just let out screams and raspy hisses. Plus, G.H.O's respond usually to
their own call (especially this time of year). Just a thought you may want to
