Oh brother! One of my pet peeves is junk e-mail. Yet I got a piece
from a good friend last week and actually enjoyed it. And then, I
pressed select all and sent it on to all my friends AND, I realized
afterward, Tweeters. I am mortified and very sorry.

Atoning, I will tell you what I have seen lately. Yesterday I saw
scoters, scaup, and a hooded merganser off the beach at Kopachek Park
west of Gig Harbor (and the resident buffleheads). I am getting golden
crowned kinglets outside my office (Gig Harbor) every day and a pileated
near my house. The kinglets and loons are a treat for this transplanted
Wisconsinite. I'm not used to seeing loons until early April and
kinglets even later. I am a beginning birder once again, with all the
accompanying joy it brings.
