Monday, rain, late bus, packed with wet people, I decide to walk by the
garden to cheer up a little before heading home, there's a crow on the phone
line, staring at a white box on the porch of one of the houses. Well, I
looked too, it did look like some one had left a pizza box on the porch, the
crow must have had the same idea, it flew down to the bottom of the steps,
looked around, hopped up the steps, cleanned it's beak on the coco-fiber
doormat, walked up to the box, nope, not pizza, but a rustle of its'
feathers and the crow got this strange look, carefully preened one feather
and AHA! realized it wasn't raining on the porch! It flew up to the railing,
carefully did a serious preening and hunkered down and closed it's
eyes.....a nice nap in a dry place, will this information be passed on? Will
crow keep this a secret? Now I am looking forward to more rain to see if it
goes back to the porch.....
