Tweets,
The gull was seen by about ten of us today, though it had to be viewed from
outside of the dump as to my knowledge (when I left at 1:00) it never came to
the Hussey St. site. This allowed for adequate but distant views. Also of
note: driving along US 12 about MP 315 I spotted a burrowing Owl sitting on a
fencepost, early migrant or an overlooked winter bird? A long day but a good
outcome.

To identify a species should not be enough to quench one's thirst,
a proper thirst must seek to understand every facet of the bird's
existence.
