My mother and I birded in Clark Co. today along with a TAS field trip led
by Bruce Labar, with great weather, with the feeling of warm spring day,
with minor wind at times during mid-afternoon. We mostly birded the
Ridgefield NWR, and Vancouver Bottoms areas with the following highlights:

1 AM.WHITE PELICAN(last bird of the day)along Lower River Rd., after
leaving Fourth Plain Blvd., heading towards Vancouver Lake on the north
side of the road in "settling" ponds. Probably the same bird present at
Ridgefield NWR earlier in the month.

MUTE SWAN
1 with 8 Tundra Swans at Post Office Lake, along Lower River Rd., NW of
Vancouver Lake

REDHEAD
10 at River S Unit of Ridgefield NWR

3 at Post Office Lake

RED-SHOULDERED HAWK
