I found three male tricolored blackbirds feed in a large mixed
blackbird/starling flock 0.3 miles north of the intersection of Lee and
Broadway. I drove to Randy Hill's and immediately went back. The flock was
gone. After dropping Randy off I went back to thw area to bird the pond
along McManoman road. Here I found the flock again feed along the potatoe
shed on the west side of the road. Also I went to Migraine Lake (near Soda
Lake) on Columbia NWR to look for the Eurasian widgeon seen earlier by Randy
hill. No luck there were alot of widgeon but the glare prvented me from
positive ID. Below are my findings.
