Hi all.
I think someone posted a review of this nature documentary last week.
It follows the family life of a pair of Eurasian Kestrels (from courtship
through fledging, in intimate detail) in Sweden as well as following the
town life in the area that the birds can see from their nest high in a
church steeple. The photography is stunning, the birds are exquisite, and
the juxtaposition of the birds' lives and the humans' sets it apart from the
usual nature film.
You can't count these on your state list ;-), but this is a wonderful film!
It's now playing at the Grand Illusion in the U District. I think it goes
through Wednesday or Thursday. Theater phone number is 206-523-3935.
Enjoy!
