Today on 2/21/00. At McNary NWR a Audubon Field Trip party found a partial
albino ruddy duck. It's head and scapulars are white. I wanted to make it
into a white-headed duck, but it has a dark back and a bulbus bill. This
bird hasd neither. We also had a American tree sparrow near the blind.

At the Walla Walla river delta we had a male Eurasian widgeon. I did not
hang around for the lesser black-backed gull so hopefully someone else from
the group will report on that.

Also for you Franklin Co. listers I do not know if this is of interest but
we had a barrows goldeneye on a small reservoir off Hendricks Rd. south of
Scootney Res on Potholes Canal.

Keep the binos steady
