Driving east on SR14 to US97 and then south on I-82 to
Portland -

On northside of river, at Skamania Landing Road - three
or four Buffleheads. Further up the road at Horsethief State
Park, numerous Common Goldeneyes. At Dallesport Ponds, ~200
Canada Geese milling abt in the ponds. Then all took flight
in groups of 10-15 forming up in V's before landing ~1/2
mile away at the airstrip. South side of river frm the
Interstate - Blue Heron, American Coots, and Mallards.
