Unless I misunderstand you, that's exactly right. I think it will be very
interesting to see what happens. The landfill probably has been
supporting an unnaturally large population. When it's suddenly taken
away, are we going to see a lot of dead or starving gulls and crows? Are
those birds going to become more aggressive? Will we see a lot more of
the kind of predation that inspired the message that started this
thread? Remember the old Hitchcock film "The Birds"? Watch your heads!
