Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I birded, mainly the Chehalis-Rainier areas, starting
at the Chehalis Steam Plant, E of Chehalis along Big Hanaford Rd., where a
female REDHEAD was located with Lesser Scaups, and 2 EURASIAN WIGEONS, with
250+ DUNLIN in a nearby flooded field. In Tenino a MERLIN, and several
W.SCRUB JAYS were present. Futher north, in Rainier, Thurston Co., at the
Weir Prairie, 7 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS, and 1 female MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD were
oberved, along with a lone NORTHERN SHRIKE.
