Another birder heard from;

I observed a singing Ruby-crowned Kinglet in our little "Stream Park"
Yesterday, Saturday, February 26. He was flitting through the
Salmonberry bushes, then flew up into a young Western Redcedar.

I also have singing Winter Wrens along several of our trails on our tree
farm east of Redmond. And of course Song Sparrows are singing from every
habitat of the tree farm, although they seem to prefer areas near streams
and wetlands. A Band-tailed Pigeon has been serenading us with his
Cheg-woo song from high in the Alders, and the flickers and nuthatches are
tuning up. New round holes are appearing near the tops of Alder snags.
Seems like spring is almost here.
