It is refreshiing to see that somebody else is thinking about the subject of
extinction. I don,t know much about the subject other than much has been
written . And it seems that the consensus amongst most naturalists is that
we are currently loosing many species.
I do fear for the fate of birds as I also fear for the fate of
Salamandars, frogs, certain mammals, plants and the like. If you go to the BBC
news service you will discover that Scientists at Cambridge University have
determined that 50% of the ozone has been depleted in the last ten years. I
think this means that ALL species are in deep shit. Terrestial life cannot
exist without the ozone layer.
The facts are we are currently on the razors edge. There are currently more
than enough nuclear weapons poised and ready to go at a moments notice to end
it all for all life forms. We could be gone ten minutes from now. But hey,
what about that stock market?
