Subject: Bird Extinction

Dear Mr. Chelimer and Tweets in general,

I, for one, am not at all offended at Gene Kridler's comments - he *did*
say most, not all, of Mainland birders. Gene knows what he is talking
about after working for the betterment of wildlife all of his own life. I
think the majority of birders care about birds, but they don't always have
the time or inclination to do positive acts, such as writing letters of
protest, attending public hearings, etc. And birds *will* decline if human
population continues to climb astronomically, merely from destruction of
habitat, the best of which is usually near water of some type.

So, please let's not get into another series of "testy" back-and-forths.
No one is (usually) being personally attacked.

Cheers, Diann
