TWEETS,
We now have eight volunteers to transcribe the BirdBox. Of the new
volunteers; Patti Gotz will be doing March, Grant Hendrickson will do
April, Doug Watkins will do May and Rebecca Galloway will do June.
Please monitor future transcriptions for errors in observers and place
names. As a veteran at this I can say that all too often people slide over
their names, phone numbers and road names. As Gene Kridler says on his
answering machine message, "Most people speak too fast". When you leave a
message and you are not a regular contributor please spell the last name. I
always have to spell my last name when I call my doctor's office. They are
now working with the Virginia Mason database. It turns out that there are
18 Robert Nortons in that database.
In addition two others volunteered to help out when they could if we had
difficulty getting enough people to do it. Thanks to all.
The transcriptionist veterans who will be continuing are Phil Kelley, Jane
Hadley, Franny Drobny and myself. Special thanks to Franny Drobny who has
done more than her share filling in when disaster struck and the person who
was scheduled to transcribe was unexpectedly unable to do it. This has not
happened with any of the transcriptionists who are currently on the roster.
We also appreciate the help from prior transcriptionists.
